The region experiences a warm, semi-arid climate with hot summers and mild winters. The summer months (May to October) can be very hot, with temperatures reaching up to 40°C (104°F) or higher. The winter months (November to April) are milder with temperatures ranging from 15-25°C (59-77°F). Rainfall is relatively low, with the majority of it falling between June and October

The real center of Mexico

El Bajío is a vibrant and diverse region that is home to many unique cities and towns. The cities of Queretaro, León, Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende are some of the most notable in this region, known for their rich cultural heritage, delicious cuisine, and picturesque architecture. This region has seen an unprecedented economic growth thanks to investments in tourism and manufacturing. This region is also known for being the geographical center of Mexico.

San Miguel de Allende is a smaller city located in the state of Guanajuato, approximately 200 kilometers northwest of Mexico City. It is a popular tourist destination known for its charming colonial architecture, including the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, a beautiful church that sits in the center of the city. San Miguel de Allende is also known for its vibrant arts scene, with many galleries and studios showcasing the work of local artists.

These cities are well-connected to major airports in North America,  is located approximately 200 kilometers from Mexico City International Airport (MEX), which has regular flights to cities such as Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago . This airport is also well connected with three big Canadian cities; Vancouver, Torontoand Montreal. 
 

 San Miguel de Allende is located approximately 200 kilometers from Leon-Guanajuato International Airport (BJX), which has regular flights to cities such as Houston, Denver, and Phoenix.
